Chimes Market Day

So my friend Calee (chimes) is like super crafty! She has recently opened up her super AMAZING etsy store.

polka dot quilt progress

I saw this terrific quilt in one of my many quilting magazines and knew that I MUST make it! so I pulled some great prints out of my stash and got to work...this is my first attempt at applique so be kind :)

Mcgruff's New Outfit!

I went to this awesome little shop in Chicago called "tail's in the city" if you are a doggie lover like me I suggest you try to make it there if your in the big windy city! Its soooo totally worth it! :) Mcgruff loves to dress up too. He can put is head and legs in the shirt on his own because he loves it so much...after he is dressed he prances around the houses like hes king! lol He always likes to go bye bye when hes dressed up also because he can show off and get all the treats and attention! ha! :) hes my baby!

My chicago/bachelorette trip!

This past weekend I planned a girls weekend to chicago that turned into my bachelorette party also...so two of my friend flew in from DC, one came from Wisconsin and 1 from Iowa. We met up at the Marriott in Chicago...friday we ordered in the famous chicago pizza and just had ourselves a few drinks ;) lol...saturday was all day downtown where we sorta ended up splitting into two groups cuz we wanted to do some different things. Overall it was a splendid weekend and we all had a blast! :) Here are a few of my favorite pictures!!
