This picture is of some of the collections i've recently bought. They include:

These fabrics I am doing a dot quilt which I found the in latest american patchwork magazine I believe. It will be my first big attempt at applique. I shot some pictures of the quilt I am going to do also.
The next few pictures are of my black and white quilt, the red is for the binding...which I thought would really make the quilt "pop"! I'm doing the coin stack quilt pattern for this one. The other two are some other projects that I have cut and ready to go just haven't had the time to finish them! lol
I saw that dot quilt in the magazine,too and fell in love with it. Also, I was thinking about your black and white stacked coin quilt and thought it might be fun to add just two or three red coins randomly in the quilt. What do you think? By the way, I love your collections.
ReplyDeleteya im excited about the dot quilt! I thought about adding red but not sure if that will look too out of place? i might try a few though :) I think im going to start working on it today!! :)
